Taiwan Semiconductor Scholarship Program for Visiting Students — Application Deadline Extended
The Taiwan Semiconductor Scholarship Program for visiting students has extended its application deadline to June 30, 2023!
Home to companies like TSMC, Taiwan long has a significant presence in the global semiconductor industry. Recognizing the increasing global demand for semiconductor talents, the Taiwanese government had set up the scholarship program to supports students from Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia who are interested in the field.
Visiting students will spend either a semester or a year at NTU, taking classes related to the field such as electrical engineering or optoelectronics. They will have access to all of NTU’s academic resources, make connections with local and other international students, and experience the energetic metropolis of Taipei.
Application Deadline: June 30, 2023
Eligibility: Students studying in semiconductor related fields who will be in their third year of study of above by the time they visit NTU. Must be of one of the following nationalities: Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia.
Note: Check to see if your school has an exchange student agreement with NTU here. If it does, then you are considered an exchange student instead of a visiting student. Contact your school for nomination details.
Scholarship Details:
- Tuition reimbursements of NTD 60,000 (~EURO 1770/~CZK 41550) per semester.
- A stipend of NTD 30,000 (~EURO 900/~CZK 20800) each month during your semester/year in Taiwan.
